A sophisticated family sanctuary

Located within the exclusive gated community of Mirembe Villas in Kigo, this residential renovation reimagines an existing home into a modern, refined, and highly functional living space. The design vision was to breathe new life into the structure by enhancing spatial flow, natural light, and material quality, transforming the residence into a contemporary family retreat that reflects both elegance and comfort.

Design Vision

The renovation strategy focused on reorganising internal layouts, opening up living areas to create fluid connections between the lounge, dining, and kitchen, while introducing larger glazed openings to frame views of the villa gardens and Lake Victoria beyond. Private spaces, including bedrooms and bathrooms, were reconfigured to maximise privacy and comfort, with bespoke finishes and upgraded detailing.

Spatial Experience

The spatial experience emphasizes clarity and sophistication: entry into the home reveals a bright, open-plan living area where light pours in through newly expanded windows, creating an airy sense of transparency and connection to the outdoors.
