HIRO is more than a restaurant—it is an immersive experience of fine dining and elevated leisure. Set in the heart of Kampala, HIRO blends architectural finesse with ambient sophistication to create a space that is both exclusive and inviting.
Our vision for HIRO was to craft an atmosphere that speaks of understated luxury. The design concept draws inspiration from contemporary Japanese minimalism fused with warm African textures—clean lines, ambient lighting, and richly layered materials converge to create a seamless flow from dining to lounge.
From the moment guests enter, they are met with a curated journey:
A sculpted façade that hints at the exclusivity within
A bold reception softened by natural wood finishes
A dining hall that balances intimacy with grandeur
A lounge area elevated with plush seating, custom lighting, and skyline views of Kampala
Each element of HIRO was meticulously chosen to evoke calm, sophistication, and modern elegance.
Bespoke lighting design to transition mood from day to night
Acoustic layering for sound comfort and privacy
Locally sourced finishes that pay homage to Ugandan craftsmanship
Flexible layout accommodating private events and curated experiences
